There’s No Need

legally and effectively
Determine What a Person
Needs To Do
To Restore Their Natural State of Good Health
Herbalists and natural healers are prohibited by law from diagnosing
disease conditions and prescribing treatments for them. So, how can you
legally recommend the products people need to improve their health?
The answer is simple, you can use traditional methods of health
assessment that don’t involve diagnosing diseases. These
methods do not diagnose disease. They teach you to see how the body is
out of balance so you can recommend herbs, diet and lifestyle changes,
and other natural methods to restore balance to the body and aid
self-healing.
I call this process, health assessment and not only is it a safer way
to work legally as an herbalist and natural healer, it’s also
a more effective way. That’s because Western medical
diagnosis is designed to go hand in hand with Western medical
treatments, whereas traditional methods of health assessment are
designed to go hand in hand with herbs and other natural remedies.
In Practical Tools for Health Assessment you’ll learn, in
detail, the process of assessing the various aspects of a
person’s health, starting with their constitution, the root
causes of illness in their life, their biological terrain and their
weak body systems. It provides you with the tools you need to analyze
all the aspects of a person’s health.
This comprehensive course provides you with the fundamentals of the
following assessment tools:
Glandular Body Typing
A system of recognizing the tendencies to basic health problems and
glandular imbalances using a person’s body shape. With
glandular body typing you can see general tendencies about a
person’s health from the moment you meet them, and know
general therapies that will help them be healthier.
Traditional Chinese and Western
Constitutional Typing
A person’s personality and their tendency to certain types of
health problems go hand-in-hand. Traditional systems of medicine have
recognized the existence of constitutional types and have used
metaphorical models like the Western four elements (air, water, fire
and earth) and the Chinese five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal and
water) to describe these types. I introduce these systems of
constitutional typing and provide questionnaires you can use to
determine a person’s constitutional type.
Basic Tongue Assessment
The tongue reveals a lot about the state of a person’s
biological terrain (the internal state of their blood and lymph). From
the tongue you can tell if a person’s metabolism is running
too hot or too cold, if fluids are moving properly through the system,
if they are toxic or congested, if their adrenals are exhausted and
other useful information.
Basic Pulse Assessement
Feeling the pulse is one of the most widely used forms of health
assessment in all systems of traditional medicine. Although it takes
many years to master pulse assessment, the fundamentals are easy to
learn. Like the tongue, the pulse tells a lot about the biological
terrain of the body. Is the person tense and stressed, is their
metabolism running fast or slow, is their condition superficial or
chronic, do they need cleansing therapy or building therapy. These are
all questions that basic pulse assessment can rapidly answer.
pH Testing
Checking the pH of urine and saliva also tells us a lot about the
biological terrain of the body. It tells us about how a
person’s kidneys and digestive system are functioning and
whether their system is too acid or too alkaline. Balancing a
person’s pH promotes healing and maintains good health.
Muscle Response Testing
Also known as applied kinesiology, muscle response testing is a
subjective form of biofeedback that can help us determine which organs
or body systems are lacking in energy or stressed. It can also help us
narrow down exactly which remedies are most likely to restore balance
to the system.
The information in Practical Tools for Health Assessment is designed to
go hand in hand with the ABC+D Approach course. It builds on the same
principles taught in that course but provides more detailed and
accurate methods of determining the state of the biological terrain and
body systems so remedies can be chosen more quickly and accurately.
This course is a must for anyone who wants to be able help people heal.
