Understanding how to manage your mood is particularly important when circumstances in life are difficult. With the current state of the world, this information is desperately needed by millions of people. It will not only help you, it will help you help others.

This information isn’t just some pet theory. It’s based on 22 years of experience in emotional healing work. It helps you understand that emotions are signals that tell you about changes you need to make to steer you in the direction of happiness, joy and inner piece. In fact, you’ll learn that there are no “negative” emotions, only negative ways of dealing with emotions.

This is a radically different approach to our emotions than most people take.  In fact, when it comes to dealing with emotional issues, there are two basic approaches commonly used in our society.  One approach is to assume that the emotional problem is a physical (i.e., biochemical) problem and therefore should be be treated with drugs.  Natural healers also use this approach when recommending herbs and nutritional supplements. 

The second approach is to assume that emotional problems are a mental problem, the result of disordered thinking or negative thinking.  This assumption causes us to recommend positive thinking or psychological counseling for our emotions.

Both of these approaches assume that emotions are a secondary issue, occupying a lesser position to the brain or the body.  I reject this approach.  I believe that emotions are a separate and equal aspect of our being, a part of the holistic triangle of body, mind and spirit (emotion).  Emotions need to be understood and addressed on their own terms.

In this program I suggest that emotions are messages, messages that are telling us that our lives are either in balance or out of balance in some way.  Emotions need to be listened to, so that their messages are heard and appropriate changes in our thoughts and actions can be taken to restore balance.

This program lays the groundwork for my approach to emotional healing. It explains the three primary "negative" emotions (grief or sadness, anger or aggression and fear or anxiety) as three primary "colors" of the vibrations known as feelings or emotions.  These emotions aren't actually negative at all, they are messages that something is out of balance and needs to be corrected. 

Each emotion is providing us with a message that will guide us back to our own center, if listened to and understood. There are three ways we can deal with these messages.

Most people assume these emotions mean that they need to change something outside of themselves, and so they "vent" these emotions against other people, seeking to get what they want.  However, this is placing the responsibility (literally the ability to response) for their feelings outside of themselves.  Other people completely suppress the emotion.  Suppressing any emotion causes us to give up power of our own lives and give it to other people.  This creates a "shadow" emotion that controls us subconsciously.

When we take responsibility for our feelings and listen to the message they are giving us, we are able to change our own attitudes and behaviors to return us to our own emotional center.  When the emotion is properly understood and acted upon, it will always guide us back to a state of peace, joy, love and harmony. This is like combining all the colors of light to make "white light."

In this DVD, I not only discuss how to listen to the feeling directly, I also discuss psychological (mental) and nutritional (physical) strategies that can help our quest for emotional balance, making this a genuine holistic approach to emotional healing.
