The nervous and glandular systems are the control systems of the body. They help regulate all the other processes of the body through three types of chemical messengers endocrine hormones, paracrine hormones (which include neurotransmitters) and autocrine hormones. The nervous and glandular systems are probably the most complex systems of the body and this course provides an excellent understanding of how they work and how to use nutritional supplements, herbs and other natural healing techniques to balance them.  Specifically the class covers:
